Qualifications: M.Sc. (Wildlife Sciences) from the Department of Wildlife Sciences, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh with specialization on common leopards in Gir Lion Sanctuary, Gujarat; Ph.D. (Wildlife Sciences) on conservation and management of snow leopard and co-predators with special reference of large carnivore-human conflicts in the select areas of western Himalayas from the Saurashtra University Rajkot, as an external affiliate at the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun.
Prior Job Experience: I am a trained, certified, enthusiastic and capable conservation biologist carries >15 year experience of working in various agro-pastoral and ecological zones covering fragile ecosystem of India with leading research and conservation organizations of the country and in the central and south Asia since 2006. My previous engagements were with the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun in the National Mission on Himalayan Studies in the Indian Himalayan Region (2016-17), monitoring illegal trade in Asia with the TRAFFIC India (2013-14) and lead for the Project Snow leopard with the WWF-India (2008-2013).
Publications: 24 research papers in National and International peer reviewed Journals, two books, one book chapter,two international manuals and articles in popular magazines.
And Technology
Qualifications: B. Sc. (Ag.) from Post Graduate College, Ghazipur affiliated with Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur; M. Sc. and Ph. D. in Horticulture with specialization in Post-Harvest Technology from Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Nadia (West Bengal).
Prior Job Experience: 6 years of teaching experience at Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University, Jhansi (U.P.) and MS Swaminathan School of Agriculture, Gajapati (Odisha) as well as 6 months of Research experience at Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi (Jharkhand).
Publications: More than 20 research papers in national and international peer-reviewed journals, 02 books, 11 book chapters, 7 practical manuals, 6 leaflet/extension bulletins and 1 success story.
Award: Inspire Fellow award (DST-Govt. of India), Fellow International College of Nutrition (FICN- Moradabad), Young scientist award (BRIATS, Prayagraj), Young scientist associated award (ATDS, Ghaziabad), Research Excellence Award (SCNR, Kolkata), Best oral award (ATDS, Ghaziabad) and Best poster award (UPCAR, Lucknow).
And Technology
Qualifications: B.Sc. Ag from Banaras Hindu University; M.Sc. Ag. (Agricultural Economics) from Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University; and Ph.D (Agricultural Economics) from Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University.
Prior Teaching Experience: 2 years teaching experience in Diploma in Seed Technology and Marketing in Banaras Hindu University.
Awards: UGC Research Fellowship during Ph.D. Young Scientist Award & Young Environmental Award by various organizations and Best Paper Presentation in International Conference on Sustainable Agriculture Development in Changing Global Scenario in Banaras Hindu University.
