DIRECTORATE OF PLACEMENT
Banda University of Agriculture and Technology has an independent Directorate of Training and Placement, headed by a director that provides an effective placement and training services to the passing out students of the respective colleges and build the skill and capacities of students through various means to meet the job requirements and opportunities in various organizations and make them aware of suitable institutions for higher studies in India as well as abroad.
The Directorate also has state-of-the-art facilities for conducting interviews and group discussions of students by the campiness / agencies visiting for recruitment of students. A well-equipped hall is needed with the seating capacity of sixty candidates and multimedia facilities along with two Deputy Director/Assistant Directorate of Training and Placement and enough secretariat and technical assistance to manage the various activities in the Directorate.
The Directorate of Training and Placement will establish Skill Development Centre for school dropout and out of school young population to offer competency based vocational training and introduce new certificate and diploma courses through online and offline modes in promising area of agriculture and allied enterprise.
The Directorate of Training and Placement will establish Agribusiness Incubation Centre and for establishment of incubation centre proposal will be send to NABARD/RKVY/NSDC etc.

Goal :
- To emerge as a leader in placement where multinationals vie with each other to recruit students of BUAT, Banda.
- To build a leading HR centre to hone the skills of students in industriousness, integrity, communication, analytical ability, soft skills, industrial awareness and help them to be national and global players in industries.
- To proactively interact with industries and seek their co-operation in vocational training and project work for students, as well as, be active players in the overall improvement of academic ambience.
- To enhance the GER of students through employment oriented certificate and diploma courses as well as to provide a platform for suitable employment.
Objectives & Procedure
Objectives :
- To provide, effective day to day guidance to the students for purposeful placement.
- To building a strong network among the corporate & institute for placements.
- To manage jobs for the candidates in different government organizations, academic institutions, industries, banking and corporate sectors and to propose effective opportunities for further higher studies.
- To prepare students for up-skilling, building their capabilities and job seeking opportunities by way of organizing training programme for developing technical skill, soft skill, communication and managerial skill to meet out industry requirement.
- To start at least three certificate and diploma courses respectively with 30 intake capacity per courses.
Procedure of Placement
Organizations are welcome to make a pre-placement talk/visit, which provides an opportunity for the organization to showcase their corporate requirement and job profiles. Prospective employers intimate the Director about their human resource requirements in various disciplines running in the University. The Directorate there upon invites the bio-data of interested students and pass on to the prospective employers. A mutually agreed date for holding interviews either at the university campus or employers’ head-quarters is fixed and the candidates are directed accordingly. For interviews held at Banda, the University provides free boarding and lodging facilities to the members of the Selection Committee in the University. Arrangement and facilities for pre-placement talk, written test, group discussions, personal interviews etc. are also made at the Directorate of Placement and Training.

- Online/Offline Test is conducted of the interested students.
