The College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences established in 2024 under the premier University Banda University of Agriculture & Technology, dedicated to fostering excellence in veterinary education, research and animal healthcare. Our College is committed to preparing human resources to address global challenges in animal health, productivity and sustainability. In order to improve the livelihood security of the millions of livestock farmers and ensure the sustainable development in Bundelkhand region, the college is dedicated to addressing the difficulties of market-driven growth momentum in the animal sector through technical assistance.

Vision

Imparting quality education in veterinary and animal sciences to undertake need based and multidisciplinary research, innovation for better animal health and productivity and developing and dissemination of various technologies for employment generation and to improve socio-economic status of the farmers through scientific livestock farming.

Mission

To produce competent and technically skilled manpower in the field of veterinary sciences and strengthen animal health services through research, development, and effective veterinary care; to generate and transfer both demand-driven and fundamental technologies to farmers and organizations for the enhancement of animal health and management; to create a strong interface between industry and stakeholders in light of emerging global market dynamics; and to validate indigenous traditional knowledge through a scientific approach.
