Qualifications: Dr. Mishra did her B. Sc. in basic Sciences from DDU Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur, M. Sc. (Ag) Horticulture from BBAU Central University, Lucknow (U.P.). She obtained her Ph. D. in Horticulture (Post Harvest Technology) from Dr. Y S Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry, Nauni, Solan (H. P.).She has received merit scholarship during Ph.D programme and qualified ICAR –NET.
Professional experience: She has a wide experience of more than 10 years in the area of post harvest handling and value addition.Before joining BUAT, Banda in December, 2017, she worked as Research Fellow in DST funded project “Standardization and commercialization of value added products from white button mushrooms (Agaricus bisporus)”. She served Amity International Centre for Post Harvest Technology and Cold Chain Management (AICPH & CCM), Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida as Teaching and Research faculty (PHT) from October 2012 to July 2025. She also workedas Assistant Professor from August December 2017 at the Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Noida. She has been engaged in various projects supported by Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna (RKVY) as Principle Investigator and co-Principle Investigator (Co-PI). She is also involved in an in house project “Conservation, Nutritional Profiling and Utilization Pattern of Underutilized/ Traditional Vegetable Crops of Bundelkhand” as co-PI.
