Registrar

Distinguished entomologist and energetic academic executor Prof. Surendra Kumar Singh assumed charge as Registrar of Banda University of Agriculture and Technology, Banda in June 2021, the first state Agriculture University of Bundelkhand region. Prior to this, S K Singh has served the University in various capacities such as Deputy Registrar, Vigilant Officer and Assistant Public Information Officer. Presently, he is also serving the University as a First Appellant Officer and Head of the department of Entomology. His significant contributions as a Registrar included planning and execution of academic activities including organizing of  Uttar Pradesh Combined Agriculture and Technology Entrance Test-2022 (UPCATET-2022) for the admission of Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Ph.D. degree programs for all the four agricultural universities of Uttar Pradesh. As a chairman of Task Force Committee, he was instrumental in the preparation of Self Study Report (SSR) and  organizing the Pear Team Visit for accreditation of the University for a period of 2023 to 2028 by Indian Council of Agricultural Research ICAR.Dr S K Singh has contributed in the planning and execution of NEP-2020 at the University level and implementation of 6^th Deans Committee Report for Undergradu
