International Plant Protection Training Consultant of FAO, Afghanistan.

Awards: District Administration, Baran, GOR, 26th January 2000 for Transfer of Technology to Farming Community; Best Extension Scientist Award, 2004, MPUAT, Udaipur; Best Writer Award, 2004, Vishwa Agro Marketing Communication; Best Research Scientist Award, 2008, MPUAT, Udaipur.
Within a short span of few months after the beginning of the first Academic Session, the University showed its presence by participating in the different programmes of Department of Agriculture and Horticulture in the Bundelkhand region. The University put up its stall and showcased its present facilities and future programmes for education and research in agriculture and allied areas. The faculty members of the University acted as resource persons in their respective fields of specialization, delivered lectures, answered the queries and guided the participating farmers.

The University put up its stall and showcased its present facilities and future programmes for education and research in agriculture and allied areas. Participation in Kisan Mela at CSA University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur
The University participated in the Kisan Mela organized at CSA University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur on 12th October 2011.
Participation in Kisan Mela of Northern States at ND University of Agriculture & Technology, Kumarganj, Faizabad
The University faculty participated in the Kisan Mela of 11 Northern States organized at ND University of Agriculture & Technology, Kumarganj, Faizabad on 1st November 2011, and apprised the audience about the upcoming University and its programmes.
Participations in Kisan Goshtis
The University participated in the most of regional Agriculture Goshti for Bundelkhand region for rabi and kharif crops held during last three years at Jhansi and/or Chitrakoot.
A Kishan Gosthi was organised on the University Campus with the coordination of U.P. State Development of Agriculture for the farmers of Chitrakoot Dham Division on 10th November 2014. The Gosthi was inaugurated by Shri Murlidhar Dubey, Commissionor of Chitrakoot Dham Mandal and all DMs of four districts participated. Stalls were also put up by the University teachers and students.
Participations in other Extension Activities
Faculty members of the university participate in the different programmes of departments of Agriculture, Horticulture, DASP, Fisheries, Live-stock and Animal Husbandry and delivered lectures to the farmers about technical know-how developed for Bundelkhand region.
Faculty members of the university participated in the vocational cum employment generation trainings on fisheries. This training was organized by RSETI Allahabad Bank for the selected 50 BPL farmers to raise their family income and for the employment generation. Dr. B.K. Gupta of the University participated in following extension activities and delivered lectures.

Visits of Farmers to the University Campus
Individual farmers from Bundelkhand region especially from Banda district interact frequently with the faculty members. Groups of Progressive Farmers from Madhya Pradesh Shahsan Vikas and Kirishi Vikas-Khand, Palli, Distt.-Umariya visited the University Campus on 18th March 2013 and interacted with the Vice Chancellor and Faculty and received guidance for latest technologies developed for the Bundelkhand area.
Again on 21st February 2014, Organic Farmers of Distt. Umariya, M.P. visited the University Campus, Banda and interacted with the faculty members. Also, a lecture on “Advantages of organic farming and human health” was delivered by Dr. B.K. Gupta.
Transfer of Six Krishi Vigyan Kendras located in Bundelkhand Region
There are six Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) in the Bundelkhand region at Jalaun, Orai, Hamirpur, Belatal, Banda, Lalitpur and Bharari, presently administered by CSA University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur have been transferred since 1 April 2017 under the jurisdiction of the University shortly.
